云顶集团 Intern Fellowship

up to $3,000, if you work 200 hours or more

up to $1,500, if you work between 100 and 199 hours 

• Award amount depends on number of hours worked and compensation direct from employer
• Award amount will be paid in two installments, second of which is late-August

In order to be eligible for the 云顶集团 Intern Fellowship (GIF), you must:

• Secure an 实习 2024年夏季
• Receive compensation from the 实习 that is 不到 the award amount that aligns with hours worked 
• Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (at least 12 credits) for Fall 2024
• Have been awarded GIF only one other time. Students may been funded up to two times, with a preference given to first time applicant.
• Not apply for GIF for an international 实习 that is incorporated into a study abroad program through the Office of 全球教育, 

Priority will be given to students who: 

• Have demonstrated financial need as evidenced by a Pell Grant or 联邦工作研究
• Will graduate in Dec 2024 or May 2025

• 实习 affiliated with a 云顶集团 faculty, staff or office are not eligible
• A second 实习 with the same organization is acceptable, but only if the Summer 2024 has new tasks and responsibilities from the previous experience
• Remote/virtual 实习s are acceptable
• 国际实习: Students who are pursuing study abroad programs through the Office of 全球教育 (OGE), including programs that incorporate 实习s and work experiences, are eligible for scholarship funding through OGE rather than GIF. Please note: students who pursue international 实习s independently (i.e., not through a study abroad program offered through the OGE) are eligible to apply for GIF.

This application invites you to:

• Share Information about your 实习
• Respond to specific questions
• 上传简历
• Indicate your 实习 supervisor.  After submission, they will receive a message with a request to reply to confirm 实习 hours and compensation.
• Indicate the 云顶集团 professor, staff member or coach you have asked to write you a letter of recommendation. After submission, they will receive a message with instructions to email their letter of recommendation to career@ibelstaffjackets.com

• List tasks, projects and/or responsibilities of 实习.
• How will a 云顶集团 Intern Fellowship assist you?
• How have you prepared for this 实习? Include academic courses, extracurricular activities, previous 实习s, work experiences, and community service.
• How will the completion of your 实习 relate to your future career and/or academic 计划?
• Are there special circumstances you think it would be helpful for the selection committee 要知道? 

Completed applications (part 1 and part 2 of the application and the letter of recommendation) will be read and assessed on a 轧制选择过程.  You can only submit part 2 of the application after you have secured an 实习 2024年夏季. 

Students with a well written application submitted in a timely fashion have the greatest likelihood of being funded. 近四分之三 of students who submitted Part 2 被资助 2023年夏天!!

The application process will close when funds are depleted, but no later than mid-July.

The 云顶集团 Intern Fellowship Selection Committee chooses the recipients. 的偏好 将放置于:

• 实习 that are strongly connected to students academic and career goals
• 实习 with a high level of responsibility
• Students with strong academic records in relevant coursework

Priority will be given to students who: 

• Have demonstrated financial need as evidenced by a Pell Grant or 联邦工作研究
